Writing Hour

Every Sunday at 11am CST, people from around the world come together on Instagram Live for the House of Amal Writing Hour, hosted by its founder Amal Kassir, its Lead Writing Instructor, Sara Bawany, along with each of the current Writing Residents.

For 60 minutes, the community delves into the craftsmanship, discipline and the spirit of writing, often with guest writers, open mics, writing workshops, poetry readings, and more. Follow us on Instagram to join the initial gathering that birthed the House of Amal vision!
