Advanced Membership Application Form

Thank you for your interest in House of Amal’s advanced membership. This form is for applicants of both Guest (intermediate) and Roommate (advanced) tiers.

Note: Both tiers differ from Traveler, which does not require an application, and can be joined immediately.

Both advanced membership tiers involve “mandatory” Writers’ Roundtable, the only program that members are expected to attend regularly. Taking from the workshop model, these feedback workshops advance writers in their ability to critically approach their pieces through a guided communal discussion around strengths and necessary improvements of their presented work.

Currently, Guest Writers’ Roundtables take place biweekly on Wednesdays from 11 am - 12:30 pm est (morning track) OR 7 - 8:30 pm est (evening track). Our Roommate Writers’ Roundtables take place weekly on Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm est.

Writers in all genres are welcome to apply. Memberships are open year-round. Someone from the House of Amal team will reach out to you when your application has been reviewed. For questions or concerns related to your application, please contact hello@houseofamal.co.
